ACTIVATE QUICKBOOKS FOR WINDOWS COMPUTERS

After installing the QuickBooks software, you will receive an activation message on the screen. You can proceed to manually activate QuickBooks in the following steps:

  • Open QuickBooks and press the F2 key.
  • The Product Information window will appear from which you can check the registration status displayed on the right-hand side of the License number.
  • If the status reads as Activated, then you’re all set.
  • If the status doesn’t show as activated, then click on OK to close the Product Information box. Go to the Help option and click on Activate QuickBooks. Continue with the steps as prompted on the screen to complete the activation process.

 

ACTIVATE QUICKBOOKS FOR MAC COMPUTERS

  • Open QuickBooks and click on the Menu tab. 
  • Choose the Register QuickBooks option.
  • In the Information dialog box, enter the License number and the Product number and click on Next. 
  • Choose the Register Online option.
  • Follow the steps mentioned on the screen to register QuickBooks on your system. If you don’t see the register option, then that means QuickBooks is already registered.

 

ACTIVATE QUICKBOOKS ON VERSION 2016 AND OTHER EARLIER VERSIONS

  • Intuit services have been discontinued on version 2016 and the ones before that. Discontinued products cannot be registered or activated if they’re being done for the first time. 
  • Discontinued items which have been pre-registered can continue with their complete registration process. You can also contact QuickBooks Support for the validation code.
